Fortress Arts Academy knows that all Black Lives Matter and strives to cultivate economic sustainability, community togetherness, and experiential access to the Arts and Humanities within our area of Southwest Philadelphia. We are an organization for local Philadelphians and are anti-gentrification. While we do not support capitalism, we know that economic and entrepreneurial fluency are ways to survive and further communal sustainability for our people under the current capitalist state in which we exist. We believe in reparations and a near future where Black communities can thrive. We are pro Black with no room for hate. To state this clearly: we do not stand for Xenophobia of any kind including but not limited to Trans/LGBTQphobia, Islamophobia, Colorism, Sexism, Ableism, or Classism.
